Nouveau projet du Bboy Mans1 " The Return " mets en lumière la richesse d'un parcours de vie où le Hip-Hop devient outil de communication, créant des ponts entre les continents et favorisant l'échange entre les cultures humaines. Faisant suite à l'album Street-Soul " Message " sorti en 2008, The Return poursuit la redéfinition des valeurs et des codes de la culture Hip-Hop et redonne une voix à ses pionniers et ses passionnés.
Enregistré entre Genève, New-York et Tamatave, The Return véritable carnet de bord musical, révéle pistes après piste la richesse et la complexité de l'aventure humaine dont il découle. Dans un style résolument Boum Bap, " The Return " donne une large place aux samples de soul, funk rock, jazz et autres musiques expérimentales ou traditionelles , le tout aggrémenté de boucle de batteries, de lourdes basses, de beatbox et de cuts incisifs.
Au côté du MC Mans1, champion Suisse EOW en 2011, on retrouve de nombreux artistes underground de Suisse, de France, de Madagascar ou encore de New-York. Loin d'être nostalgiques d'une époque révolue, les artistes présents sur l'album, passionnès de culture Hip-Hop depuis les années 90, réaniment l'âge d'Or du rap par un témoignage musical d'une philosophie et d'une identité propre au Street Soul crew.

Recorded between Geneva, New York, and Tamatave, The Return is a true logbook of music, which reveals layers of richness and the human adventure from which it is created. In a resolutely Boom Bap style, The Return gives a large space to to samples of soul, funk, rock, jazz and other experimental or traditional styles. All of it supported by waves of drums, heavy basses, beat box, and incisive cuts.
Next to Mans1, Swiss EOW Champ in 2011, we find a large number of underground artists from Switzerland, France, Madagascar, and New York.
Far from being nostalgic for a past era, the artists are passionate for Hip Hop since the 90s and revive the golden age with a musical testimony to a philosophy and identity characteristic of the Street Soul Crew.
